Art in the Park’s pioneering project the Heart Garden was set up by Art in the Park artists in partnership with Southwark General Practices and health professionals. Patients with CHD and long term illness could be referred to the project which has an emphasis on friendly, social activities and holistic health.

The Heart Garden is currently being running by a small group of dedicated volunteers with occasional specialist input from Sue Amos of Glengall Wharf Gardens.

We are in the process of applying for more funding for a co-ordinator, when we will again be able to open it out to more participants including those referred from local GPs.
