Art in the Park is devoted to enriching lives through art. We run art, environmental, heritage-based projects for all ages, and the majority of our work is visual arts-based. Our well-resourced studios are located in Burgess Park, Southwark, and run by professional and experienced artists with a strong track record of delivering projects with local communities. We aim to bring art to as many people as possible, whatever their age and ability, and to make art outdoors as much as we can – both as an inspiration and as a site for artwork. We also do outreach in many venues, working with local partners.

We provide a vital role in running a diverse range of creative activities with many groups, partners and drop in public events across the borough. We devise our activities to enhance wellbeing, boost self-esteem, combat isolation, develop social connections and provide gentle exercise outdoors as much as possible.

We provide high quality cultural experiences and opportunities to our local community through a wide range of creative classes run by a diverse group of artists supported by a large team of assistants and volunteers.
